KRU Jay Clifton ja.k.a. 'Cuckoo Bird' became a student of the the late Kru Suuan Mikhal Caldwell founder of the famous Black feather in 1994. He continued through 2002 where he received his Kru certificate and began to instruct others. Kru Cuckoo Bird among others is one of 10 instructors of the famed Black feather Muay Thai Camp
