He is one of few highly qualified Instructors of Krabi Krabong in the United States.
ArjarnKlaus Handke-Prompan has attained the honor of becoming one of the few Germans to qualify as a Gold Sash Sixth Degree in Krabi Krabong. This is the third highest grade awarded to non-Thai students of the art. Arjarn Klaus Handke-Prompan received his ranking at the Buddhai Sawan. He is one of a few highly qualified Instructors of Krabi Krabong in Europe
Ajarn Pedro Solana Villalobos was the first person from Spain to qualify as a Gold Sash 5th Degree in Krabi Krabong. He received his ranking at the Buddhai Swan Temple in 1999. On December of 2000 I received from Wat Buddhai Swan the 8th Degree Gold Sash in Krabi- Krabong.
Arjarn Jorge Alphonso Tamez Certified by Arjarn Sammai in 1984/5 Alphonso was the first non Thai that Arjarn Sammai gave the Instructor/ Teacher Gold Sash designation.
Arjarn Antony James Certified by Arjarn Sammai in 1986 and was given the Instructor/ Teacher Gold Sash designation.

A Sash grade guide of the Buddhai Swan was corrected and confirmed by the late Grandmaster Arjarn Samai; according to Arjarn Samai the highest graded student outside of Thailand holding Gold Sash Ninth Degree is Arjarn Tony Moore of England followed by Gold Sash Eighth Degree Arjarn Stephen Wilson of the USA, and Gold Sash Seventh Degree Arjarn Jason Webster, Arjarn Vincent Giordano and Arjarn Michael DeLio of the USA. According to traditions of the Buddhai Sawan, the highest graded students should be addressed as 'Pichai'(Elder brother) and should be given the proper respect. Included in this rankings are Arjarn Jorge Alphonso Tamez and Arjarn Antony James, who are listed as the first Non Thais to be credited with the level of Gold Sash.
